BEL-GAIT Citizens aims to develop and offer short training courses (maximum 10 hours) on topics of public interest, directly addressing citizens' concerns in their daily lives.
The primary goal of BEL-GAIT is to promote inclusivity and accessibility in learning. Too often, training opportunities are limited by geographical, financial, or structural barriers. We seek to tackle these challenges through an innovative approach based on three key pillars:
- Local Proximity: Organizing training sessions in close collaboration with municipalities and local stakeholders (non-profits, schools, etc.), delivering them directly within communities, close to where citizens live.
- Financial Accessibility: Actively pursuing funding (donors, sponsorships, public grants, etc.) to cover costs and offer training at affordable prices, or even entirely free whenever possible.
- Quality and Relevance: Designing programs that provide practical, concrete solutions to real-life needs, enabling participants to develop useful skills and enhance their quality of life.
Our ambition is to contribute to the true democratization of learning, ensuring that everyone can access the training necessary for their personal and professional growth, regardless of their financial or geographical situation.
